LED - A Power Saver

At Rays Energy, we are aware of our environmental responsibility, thereby insistently design and make products that improve visibility, safety, reduce light pollution and minimize energy requirements using the basics of Light Engineering. By ensuring that our LED luminaries {Electric & Solar based} do not wastefully disperse light, thereby contribute in minimizing energy wastages.
Our lighting solutions elucidate two main industry concerns in terms of light performance i.e. uniformity and intensity. While at the same time delivering energy savings of up to 50%. In spite of the front-end cost, the estimated payback is well within the initial years of the system and so much so draws an eligibility to avail 80% deprecation for the first year under the subsidy of Non Conventional Energy. While the industry is exercising cost control at almost all stages of activity, our expertise serves the cause rather than supply of material, as we promote the idea of LED light engineering, which facilitates both optimum lighting & effective cost control measures.
Technology:
The cutting edge technology and expertise in light engineering is a result & effect of strenuous effort of research and development. In all, our solutions & product range will provide the two fundamental criteria's for lighting performance, intensity and uniformity.
LED Lighting Features and Benefits Overview:
Efficiency LEDs use up to 90% less power than traditional lighting
Longevity LEDs have up to 100,000 hour Lifespan (11 ½ year powered 24 hrs/day)
Durability LEDs are much more rugged than traditional lighting.
Safety LEDs generate virtually no heat. Safe to the touch and reduce fires
Environment LEDs are made from non-toxic & recyclable materials "Green or Earth Friendly".

Promise of Solid State Lighting

  • The use of solid-state lighting devices promises huge savings in energy consumption.
  • The electricity for lighting needs is 60GW, over 24 hrs.
  • About 24 GW year is consumed by incandescent lamps with a luminous intensity of 15lm/W.
  • 36 GW year is consumed by FL/HID lamps with a luminous intensity of 75lm/W.
  • Assuming that by year 2020, they are replaced by LEDs with luminous intensity of 150 lm/W, energy savings are 40 GW year.
  • That translates to $40 billion in savings.
  • At 4Mtons / GW year of coal consumption, net savings lead to 25% less coal consumption, leading to lesser emissions of green house gases.
  • Global savings are projected to be about $140B
Pledge:
We reinforce the commitment to improving quality of life and preserve the environment. We take pride to be involved in this project and invite your initiative to create the future. We take this opportunity to thank one and all for the courtesy extended during the course of the visit and trust the interaction will soon translate to a working opportunity with TNPL. Keenly await your response for the trail in the plant over an area-measuring minimum 3000 Sq.ft.

Gokulashtami - Hindu Festival

It is the time to wish Lord Krishna on his Birthday ( Krishna Jayanthi) on 13th August. Krishna Avatar is one of the avatar in 10 avatars of lord Vishnu. Krishna is often treated as a kid/small boy playing flute and eat butter unknowingly. Hindu's Mythological book(Holly Book) Bagavath gita was said by him. On Krishna Jayanthi, Hindus used to prepare Seedai, Murukku, Milk, Curd, fruits, Aval (rice quashed and dried). There were many mythological stories about Lord krishna and i like to share a story about Krishna lifting govarthana hills. There was a huge storm and heavy rain that flooded the streets of virndhavana and people were running here and there to safeguard them and their families and there were no separate place to shelter because their roofs were hit by those storms. People ask krishna to safeguard them, finally krishna lifted the govarthana hill and protected the people who requested him. There are so many stories about him.

Unusual Weather Phenomena - Amazing

Unusual Weather Phenomena

Mirages - Mirages occur when light is refracted to produce an image of an object or the sky where it is not. It is most commonly seen on hot surfaces, such as the pavement or a desert.

Haloes - Like rainbows, haloes are formed around the Sun due to moisture (in this case ice crystals) being refracted from the Sun rays in the upper atmosphere. Sometimes two or more areas of the circle or arcs surrounding the Sun will be brighter, forming what are called Sun Dogs. Haloes can also form around the Moon, and occasionally around the brighter stars and planets like Venus.

The Secret of Success

Nice Read!!!

The Secret of Success

There was once a farmer who grew superior quality and award-winning corn. Each year he entered his corn in the state fair where it won honor and prizes.

Once a newspaper reporter interviewed him and learnt something interesting about how he grew it. The reporter discovered that the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors.

"How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering their corn in competition with yours each year?" the reporter asked.

"Why sir," said the farmer, "didn't you know? The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior, sub-standard and poor quality corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn."
"If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn too."

The farmer gave a superb insight into the connectivity of life. His corn cannot improve unless his neighbor's corn also improves. So is the case with other dimensions in life!

Those who choose to be at harmony must help their neighbors and colleagues to be at peace as well. Those who choose to live well must help others to live well. The value of life is measured by the lives it touches.

Success does not happen in isolation. It is very often a participative and collective process.
So share the good practices, ideas and new learning's with your family, team members and neighbors.
