Like Pongal in Tamil Nadu, Onam is a biggest harvest festival. Onam is celebrated by all malayalis all over the world. The word Onam moralize the flower decoration around the kuthu Vilakku. It is a 10 day festival falls on August - September. The First day is called Atham and the last day is call Thiruonam. It is a Mishmash of boat racing, elephants, dance, folk songs. On Thiruonam day they prepare a grand meal of 11 to 13 variety dishes. People actively participate in many games & dances like
