Cheerapunji is a town in eastern kashi hills district, Meghalaya, India. It marked its remarkable presence in history by having highest rainfall region. It is considered as the 2nd wettest place in the world. Mawsynram is the village located near the cheerapunji, which is also in the kashi hills district, meghalaya. This Village is currently holds the wettest place title. This village listed in Guinness Book of world Records for receiving 26,000 millimeters of rainfall in 1985. The main cause of heavy rainfall in cheerapunji is its height from plains.

Riddles- We are suppose to take many challenges in our life. Some may ended into victory or getting forfeited. We usually keep "Confidence" as our tool to overcome our failure either in our work culture or even in just solving a riddle.
lets now see what defines the word "Riddle"

Riddle - A question intentionally phrased to require ingenuity in ascertaining its answer.

What is the Purpose of this Riddle? Why it has been asked in many interviews or why people are keeping this "Hard Rock" to break at my first level of selection?

The simple answer is to check your ability of handling things in an great & efficient manner. In other words, this is to check your Out of Box thinking to solve the problem and also your smartness. Sometimes when we read a riddle, we may think in a complicate manner and it will ended up in confusion, But it may not a worth as you think means It may solve in very simple logic which we know already. Riddle usually looks confusing but a simple logic will be hidden inside it. If we discovered that then it will be easy to solve.
