Fest Name: "Kandhar Shashti"
Background: "Kandhar Shashti" a festival of hindu god "muruga", had been celebrated from Nov 2 to Nov 4 . "Soora Samharam" one of the day in kanthar shashti, in which lord muruga killed an Asurendra "Sooran" who annihilate the people and ruled like dictatorship. People prayed to lord muruga to exile them out from excruciation made by "Sooran". Accepting their prayers, Muruga took an avtar and killed Soora.

Background: Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru fascinated about children and want to celebrate his B'Day as Children's Day. On that day Most of the institutions in india arrange certain events for students and awarding them prizes.
