Republic of Mauritious is an island positioned at the offshore of African Continent. It is about 900 Kilometers from madagascar. Reunion is one of the island located nearby mauritious. The Portugese sailors were visited it in early 15th century. Three Dutch ships were blown off and landed in this island in later 15th century. They named this island as "Maurice of Nassau". In later 18's this island had reverted to its original name, during british rule.
