Plastic Bottle House in Nigeria - Africa

How were they built?

In the city of Kaduna, there are a lot of plastic bottles. Around 7800 huge plastic bottles from the city were gathered, filled with sand, and connected with strings to form a network. They arranged the bottles in the correct design and filled them with a cement and mud mixture to make them more durable than bricks and blocks. A two-bedroom house that is being built has an inside temperature of 64 degrees Fahrenheit.
