Bibi Ka Maqbara:Located more than 3 kms from the city and it was built by aurangazeeb in memorial of his wife. It looks similar to one of the seven wonders "Taj Mahal". It also called as mini taj of deccan. It was built in the end of 17th century. He was the son of the mugal emperor Shah Jagan.










Panchakki:
It is a 17th century water treatment/Mill/Hub. It stood as a real time example for underground water system on those days. It was built by malik ambar. The source for this mill is from a mountain which travels more than 8 kms.

Thirukazhukundram - Hindu Temple

Most of the Hills in South India are dedicated to Hindu God Murugan( Arupadaiveedu), But this hill is mainly dedicated to Lord Shiva. This place is located around 10 to 15 Kms from Chengalpattu near chennai. The Name of Lord Shiva in this temple is Vedagiriswarar. The Speciality of this temple is "Sangu Theertham" & "Eagle". Hindu Mythological Saint Markendeya did penance in this temple. We have to cross 530 steps to worship lord shiva. Lord shiva gets abhishegam(Bath) daily, but goddess will get only thrice in an year. It is Strongly believed that Conch(Sangu) will appear in the pond once in twelve years. This place is really a proven solution for hindu mythology.
