ICC cricket World Cup...... so many thought process arise in every cricket fan's mind on who will be the World cup champion this time.... Statistical calulations..... discussions about the star players from every country and their current trends and based on that predicting matches... discussions about stadium/grounds/pitches will be the pattern normally when the world cup dates are announced.... Pongal 2019 - Special

To my adorable readers/followers, wish you a delighful new year with dreams come true. Wish this year gives you more strength and confidence to overcome challenges. Wish you a very Happy Pongal 2019. Happy Sankranthi. For farmers around the world, I wish this year proffer you with as many yields as possible.

Pongal a 4 day festival in south india which is to dedicate to the ultimate source of heat and light SUN. Sun is the source for all. Sun is the source for yields. We could say it is nothing but Thanks Giving festival of Indians to the ultimate source SUN. This Harvest festival is also to say Thanks to cattle which is used to plough the fields during irrigation. Cattle will be decorated, Feeded and worshipped. Bull taming festival (Jallikattu) also celebrated during this pongal festival. Famous areas for this Jallikattu in tamil nadu are Avaniyapuram, Alanganallur, Pallavarayanpatti, Thiruvapur, Madurai.  Bulls will be cleaned with colorful painted horns and flower garlands entered into the ground where we have group of bull tamers awaiting to chase the bull. A guy who can chase a bull successfully will be awarded with a prize. Similarly, if a bull cannot be chased by anyone, the bull owner will get some prize money. Few community people celebrate 3rd day of pongal as "Kanu Pongal" where ladies devote variety rices to crows for their brother's wellness.

Fine, lets see what are the items that usually in place during Pongal.
1. Pongal pot
2. Sugarcane
3. Raw Turmeric
4. Raw Ginger
5. Flowers/Garlands
6. Paddy/Rice
7. Jaggery
8. Milk
9. Ghee

There are some reason behind why these items are in place. Sugarcane culitivation will normally be more during this period. We can make pongal in a mud pot. Turmeric/Ginger also harvested more during this period. This period is considered as significant for Harvesting paddy/Rice.

Kanadukathan-Chettinad-Palace-Karaikudi-Tamil Nadu-India

Tamil Nadu a land of temples has known for it architectures and cultural convention has bestowed many items for us to explore like temples,palaces,dams,art etc. One among that is Kanadukathan Chettinad Palace near Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu. Chettinad a land mass that is accustomed for its cuisine and architecture specifically the houses. Kanadukathan a small town panchayat with 4795 population. Kanadukathan Chettinad Palace a 110 year old royal residence built by Raja Annamalai Chettiar stand as an example of chettinad architecture. The decorations, construction materials, furnishings were imported from Europe and other east asian countries. Marbles from Italy. It spreads over 40000 sq feet.

Seed Bank one of the great initiative by Google for ML aspirants

Data science aspirants listen. Google has come forward to train and make people learn about the Machine learning algorithms from the basic machine learning to audio/video analysis.Seedbank a search engine collaborative notebooks for Machine learning explorations and learning. you can browse through that site and find out the machine learning problems along with the solutions and the most appreaciable part is that you can experiment it by executing it. You can also store that in your google drive and can refer it later. Here they are integrated with the Jupyter notebook where you can experiment the solution. You can use this solution for your similar Machine learning problems. Each problem and solution refer to a seed. Currently there are 91 seeds.  Hope Google will add more to the list.
