Classy Clunker - BMW

This Logo is the Most favorite for almost maximum "Car lovers" in the world. Many of them are started exploring the wide choice of BMW cars and setting up the goal to buy their most wanted BMW model. From kid to grany, everyone are awaiting to experience every new model and its new features. BMW(Bayerische Motoren Werke AG) a German automobile company started in 1916. As per the 2010 stats it produced 1.4 Millions automobiles and 112,271 motorcycles across all brands. The circular blue and white BMW logo symbolizes the movement of an aircraft propeller, to signify the white blades cutting the blue sky.
 Previously (before World war I) it was an aircraft engine manufacturing company and after World war I they were forced to stop aircraft engine manufacturing and they slowly moved to motorcycles. It owns mini marque and it is the parent company for Rolls Royce brand. India had seen many Rolls Royce cars from the 19th century to till now.

BMW's ultimate mission is to produce premium standard with outstanding quality vehicles. After stopping aircraft engine manufacturing  and before entering into motorcycles, they had their attention towards manufacturing Rail Brake lines and built in engines. They produced their first built in engines during early 1922. They have entered into the munich plant located in Germany during that time. During 1940 the munich plant got damaged heavily and reconstruction happens on 1950. Since the capacity of munich plant reached its limit. they moved to new plant in Dingolfing in 1960. In 1990 BMW enters US automobile industry and stabilized itself as a global player.

BMW's revenue crossed over €60 billions. They follow certain nomenclature for their models. you may found some models like 116i,120i etc this "i" represents "Fuel-injected". similarly 325d, 330d "d" represents diesel.  They have certain strategies like sustainable management, product responsibility like CO2 emission control, etc. BMW reached India in 2006 as a subsidiary. There is a system called iDrive, It is used to adjust the inside temperature according to climate changes and to control music system & navigation system . It is available in current BMW models and in some older models. BMW kept its footprint in motor sport vehicle manufacturing sector and produced 1500cc BMW M10 engine block.
