Kumbhalgarh fort - Great Indian Wall - Rajasthan

Most of us know about Great wall of China which was built across china and one among the wonders of the world. But there is similar such kind of wall in India as well which was built by the king Rana kumbha in 15th century near Udaipur of Rajasthan. It is about 90 kms from Udaipur.
 Kumbhal fort is one of the world heritage place. The walls are thick enough. It is second largest wall in the world after Great wall of China. We could see a gigantic doors and a temple. It was occupied until late 19th century and later it was opened to public.  The length of the wall is 36 kms and width is 25 feet. It will take 8 hours to reach from one end to another. It was constructed above 1914 meters from the sea level. This beautiful fort has 7 massive doors and 7 ramparts.It was built in the Aravalli ranges. It is the birth place of Mewar Legendary king Rana Kumbh. You could see the light show in the evening which would be glorious. The best way to reach this place is via car and best time is October to February.
