Ganesh Chadurthi Celebration

Ganesh Chadurthi, an Hindu festival, celebrated the birth of lord Ganesha.

How people celebrates it, usually in southern parts of India, people use to buy the idol of lord Ganesha made out of mud and decorate that with the colors and other flowers especially Milk Weed Flower (Erukkam Poo) and Bahama Grass (Arugam Pull). People in south India prepare Kolukattai (Type of sweet) in their homes and worship lord Ganesha.
