Rabindranath Tagore: The Renaissance Man of India

 Rabindranath Tagore was a true renaissance man who made an indelible impact on Indian literature, culture, and society. Born in 1861 in Calcutta, Tagore was a poet, writer, philosopher, musician, and painter who defied boundaries and inspired generations of people around the world.

Tagore was the first Asian to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913 for his collection of poems, Gitanjali.
